Helen Longfils

Group Director of Social Value, Mitie

Continuing the Social Value Commission Spotlight Series is Helen Longfils, Group Director of Social Value at Mitie.

In this next video, hear about the way that Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management company employing 90,000 people, supports communities and improves facilities across the UK.

One example is Business Boost, a Cumbria-based programme helping local entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. Through the initiative, local baker Bakes by Gina has grown her organisation to employ 30 people in the area, creating local jobs and selling her products to other regional organisations.

Our first commissioner on the series is Dominic Veney, Interim CEO at Pension Insurance Corporation plc and Business Chair of the Social Value Commission.
