Ushna Mughal

Ushna Mughal is the Senior ESG Lead at Knight Dragon, where she is responsible for shaping and delivering ESG strategy across the Greenwich Peninsula regeneration project. Her work focuses on embedding social value into development and designing social value frameworks that translate policy objectives into procurement, contracting and delivery outcomes, particularly around inclusive growth, skills, employment and long-term community wellbeing. 

At Knight Dragon, she collaborates with local authorities, community partners and industry stakeholders to embed social value outcomes across regeneration projects. She is particularly interested in cross sector collaborations to drive social impact and reduce inequality through place-based investment. 

Ushna brings a strategic, evidence-based approach to social value, with experience translating policy ambitions into practical delivery on the ground. As a member of the Social Value Commission, she will bring her insights on how the private sector can play a leading role in driving equitable, sustainable outcomes through place-based investment and responsible real estate development.
